Vaccine Policy

Vaccines are one of the most significant medical advances we have achieved. Our Vaccine Schedule follows the recommendations from the CDC.

When we give multiple vaccines at one time, we are working to balance the stress on your child’s immune system, protection against very harmful infections, the stress of getting poked with needles, and visits to the office. If you would like to spread out vaccines for your child, we will work with you. Our standard is for children to receive vaccines according to the schedule: we don’t mind whether they get all their shots at their well visit, or get 1 shot at the visit and come back to see our nurse for each shot until they are caught up.

Talk to Dr Beavers if your child has had an allergic reaction, or if your child has a condition that makes vaccines a higher risk for them.
